This photo was taken, and subsequently manipulated, by A. Larsson of the Stikine River Historical Foundation during the summer of 2000. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police office and Jail can still be seen in Glenora B.C. about 12 miles downriver from Telegraph Creek. It was active c. 1898 and abandoned soon after. The Stikine River Historical Foundation is interested in the preservation of old structures like this that can still be found throughout the length of the Stikine River.
